Primus
Primus Remove performer from this event
Primus is all about Les Claypool; there isn't a moment on any of their records where his bass isn't the main focal point of the music, with his vocals acting as a bizarre side-show. Which isn't to deny guitarist Larry LaLonde or drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander any credit...
Widespread Panic
Widespread Panic Remove performer from this event
One of the many neo-hippie jam bands inheriting the road-warrior mantle left behind by the Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic established a devout grassroots following on the strength of constant touring and a loose, rootsy brand of Southern rock informed by jazz and blues textures.

Café Tacuba
Café Tacuba Remove performer from this event
With rare objection, Café Tacuba is credited far and wide as the preeminent band to have arisen from the rock en espana; movement of the early '90s. The Mexican four-piece unfortunately isn't well characterized by the rock en espana; tag, for the "rock music sung in Spanish"...
The Coup
The Coup Remove performer from this event

Radiohead
Radiohead Remove performer from this event
Radiohead was one of the few alternative bands of the early '90s to draw heavily from the grandiose arena rock that characterized U2's early albums. But the band internalized that epic sweep, turning it inside out to tell tortured, twisted tales of angst and alienation.
Beck

One of the most inventive and eclectic figures to emerge from the '90s alternative revolution, Beck was the epitome of postmodern chic in an era obsessed with junk culture. Drawing upon a kaleidoscope of influences -- pop, folk, psychedelia, hip-hop, country, blues, R&B, funk...
