Zebulon Restaurant & Bar

During the day, Zebulon is filled with lunching masses. At night, a homey warehouse vibe prevails, with a DJ spinning chilled lounge grooves from the mezzanine. Beneath skylights and original art prints, the main floor features a long wooden banquette running the left side of the room; a small back bar and various seating options are also sprinkled throughout--including a couple small leather couches. The name Zebulon comes from the 60's French animation "Le Manage Enchante." It was a political satire with off the wall characters & since it was a cartoon it was very popular with small children. Monsieur Zebulon was an eccentric wizard who had a spring for legs and bounced around fixing peoples problems and in general cheered people up. The original animation was created by Serge Danot in 1965 and later was bought by the BBC and became known as the Magic Roundabout. Zebulon (the French name) became Zebidee (the English name).
